Netherlands Permanent Residence Visa

You are allowed to apply for a Netherlands residence permit, only if you wish to reside in the country for longer than three months. A Dutch hearthstone permit allows you to remain in the country for over a period of five years. Who Requires a Netherlands Hearthstone Permit?

You are required to apply for a hearthstone permit unless you are a citizen from the European Union, abbreviated as EU, or European Economic Area, abbreviated as EEA or Switzerland, if you intend to move to the Netherlands.

Still, EEA, and Switzerland, if you are a family member of a citizen living in the EU. Your passport/ identity document must be valid for the entire duration of your stay.
Must have sufficient fiscal means. It could be payslips payment statements, documents showing you own shares in a company, or a letter from a benefits agency.
You must have health insurance. It has to cover you for the wholeness of the time you are required to live in the Netherlands.
You must show evidence of the purpose of your stay. For illustration, a contract of employment in the country, a document from a Dutch educational institution, or a marriage or a civil cooperation instrument.
Need to take a tuberculosis test. This should be done within the last three months of entering the country. However, you must admit a treatment for it, if you have the disease previously.

Applying for a Hearthstone Permit to Netherlands

Before applying to this hearthstone permit, you need to check for whether or not you need an MVV, which totally depends on the nation from where you are. In some cases, to apply for a Dutch hearthstone permit, an MVV visa or a long-stay or type D visa is required.

An MVV visa allows its holder to enter the country while they stay for their hearthstone permit operation to be reused. An MVV is also called an authorisation for temporary stay or a provisional hearthstone permit.

You along with your guarantor can apply for both the MVV and the Dutch hearthstone permit through the Entry and Residence Procedure, if you require a MVV visa.

The communal integration test

If you do not require an MVV

You need to apply for your Dutch hearthstone permit within 90 days after entering the Netherlands, if you are not subject to an MVV visa. However, you need not to apply for a hearthstone permit, it means that you are staying in the Netherlands immorally after 90 days. You are also applying for a hearthstone permit while you are in your home country.

Completing the Operation Form & Submitting Needed Documents

Grounded on the purpose of your stay, you and your guarantor will need several documents in order to apply for a Netherlands hearthstone permit. The documents and other conditions differ based on the types of Netherlands hearthstone permit you’re applying for.

The document must be in Dutch, English, French or German language. However, they need to be restated by a sanctioned Dutch translator and submitted along with the originals, if they are not. All the foreign documents need to be legalized by a government authority in the Netherlands.

All the documents, including birth, marriage instruments, bank statements, employment contracts etc., have to be authenticated with an a postille stamp. Before that, they also have to be inked by a functionary from the issuing party and/ or certified by a counsel or notary public.

Processing Time for Hearthstone Permit to Netherlands

The Netherlands hearthstone permit operation generally takes up to a period of 90 days. After that, you will be notified whether or not you have been granted your hearthstone permit.

Still, you are allowed to collect your Dutch hearthstone permit at an IND office in the country, if your operation is being accepted. This permit contains your particular information, like the purpose of stay, validity, V-number, and work status.
